Deedee's Digis October Challenge

Harvest Time

Mr scarecrow is part of the wonderful images sent to us for this months challenge at Deedee's Digis. There were plenty to choose from but Mr scarecrow on his own won out. I copied him hanging on the signpost and the pumpkins to make this scene. They were coloured with copics then fussy cut and mounted onto the watercolour background. I used distress ink pads, blueprint sketch and mowed lawn that I stamped onto a piece of acetate, spritzed with water and then dipped my water paper into it. Love this easy way to do a simple background and it is different every time. Adhered it onto a ivory card base with a foam backing to keep it flat as it curled slightly.
